My journey into poultry veterinary medicine has been shaped by my background in intensive livestock production and my interest in population health. Working with broiler and layers previously, I was keen to develop my poultry veterinary knowledge further so that I could connect the principles of production, health, and disease management.
Having spent many years working with pigs, I have significant experience of population medicine and epidemiology—areas that are highly relevant to commercial poultry production.
As I develop my poultry career, I am most looking forward to building on my existing production knowledge and contributing to the industry. I’m excited to be working with innovative producers and share my passion for improving animal health and sustainable food production.
