Update Dec 31st: Several further cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza (H5N1) have been confirmed.   • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a premises near Watlington, King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, Norfolk
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a premises near North
    Somercotes, East Lindsey, Lincolnshire
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 has been confirmed at a
    premises near Romsey, Test Valley, Hampshire

  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 has been found at a premises near Market Bosworth, Hinckley & Bosworth, Leicestershire.
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 has been found at a premises near Wem, North Shropshire, Shropshire.
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a second premises near Pocklington, East Yorkshire, East Riding of Yorkshire.
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a fourth and fifth premises near Alford, East Lindsey, Lincolnshire.
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 has been found at a premises near Middleton-in-Teesdale, County Durham, Durham.

  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 and the implementation of a 3km Captive Bird (Monitoring) Controlled Zone at a premises near Washington, Sunderland, Tyne and Wear.
     
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a premises near Alford, East Lindsey, Lincolnshire.
     
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a second premises near Willington, South Derbyshire, Derbyshire.
     
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a premises near Moffat, Dumfriesshire, Dumfries and Galloway.
     
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a premises near Highworth, Swindon, Wiltshire.
     
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza at a premises near Clifford, Hereford and South Herefordshire, Herefordshire.
     
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a premises near Aspatria, Allerdale, Cumbria.

  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a premises near Sudbury, Babergh, South Suffolk.
     
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at an eighth premises near Thirsk, Hambleton, North Yorkshire.
     
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a fourth premises near Barrow upon Soar, Charnwood, Leicestershire.
     
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a premises near Pocklington, East Yorkshire, East Riding of Yorkshire.

Update Dec 6th: Five further highly pathogenic avian influenza (H5N1) cases have been confirmed:

  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a premises near Newent, Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.
     
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a seventh premises near Thirsk, Hambleton, North Yorkshire.
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a premises near Gretna, Dumfriesshire, Dumfries and Galloway.
     
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a premises near Crickhowell, Powys, Wales.
     
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a premises near Richmond, Richmondshire, North Yorkshire.

  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a sixth premises near Thirsk, Hambleton, North Yorkshire.
     
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a premises near Tutbury, East Staffordshire, Staffordshire.
     
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 at a premises near Leominster, North Herefordshire, Herefordshire.
     
  • Updated information. H5N1 avian influenza found at a premises near Clitheroe, Ribble Valley, Lancashire now confirmed as highly pathogenic. Following a risk assessment a 3km Captive Bird (Monitoring) Controlled Zone has been put in place
     
  • Highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 has been found at a second premises near Barrow upon Soar, Charnwood, Leicestershire.
