The St David's Poultry Team vets are responsible for the majority of the Layers in the UK. Farm visits and laboratory work is planned to maximize the birds health and welfare. Please look at our Retainer Schemes, these allow the producer to set budgets for his veterinary input. The wide range of experience from our vets allows us to offer advice and management on all types of husbandry and vaccination plans are discussed and devised to minimise disease. Our clients can view documents, serology and post mortem reports from their own farms through our secure password protected internet database. The veterinary team works hard to provide a range of novel solutions to layer problems, from the use of parasitic wasps to control flies to the provision of medicines with a zero egg withdrawal.
