Fran graduated from the Open University with an Open Science degree in 2006. Since then she has worked in a variety of laboratories in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. She joined the St David’s Poultry Team in early 2017, having already worked in the poultry industry for 5 years and for the Veterinary Laboratory Agency before that.
Outside of work she enjoys running, regularly taking part in trail and fell races and off-road ultras. She’s also secretary for her local running club. When she gets some extra free time she also enjoys hiking and camping with her partner and dog.
