Emily studied Agri-Food Marketing and Business at Harper Adams University. She had her first experience of the poultry industry when she received a scholarship from the British Poultry Council, and carried out a year’s placement at one of the UKs largest fully integrated chicken producers. She also worked on a broiler farm whilst completing her degree. St David’s was the next exciting step in her career. Her role as a field service technician includes blood testing, delivering medication, chick swabbing and bacteriology. In her spare time, she enjoys rowing, playing the violin and hiking with her dog Blue.
