Dana graduated from the University of Utrecht in 2005. She was scouted by a veterinary practice in Fermanagh through a fellow Dutch colleague and subsequently packed her bags and moved to Lisnaskea. There she has spent 11 years in mixed practice. She developed an interest in herd health management and research and completed a project management course in 2014. She met her partner at Erne Veterinary Group and they now have three children together. In 2016, Dana became aware of a vacancy at St David’s Poultry Team in Dungannon which sparked her interest as it combined clinical veterinary with management and research in a challenging new field. Deciding to take on that challenge she now forms part of the Dungannon team.
In her spare time Dana enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, cooking and dining out, going to the movies and reading. She is a member of her local PTA and enjoys spending time in the community and organising fun filled events for the local school.
